Career Consultation by KRH Consulting is a personalized service designed to assist an individual in making a decision about possible career changes within the current organization or career changes that could lead to new or different positions outside the present organization.

 

Although always tailored to the needs of the individual, the service includes the following phases:

 

I.

CAREER ASSESSMENT
The consultant gathers pertinent career related data through a variety of methods such as an in-depth interview, relevant objective tests and colleague interviews.

II.

FEEDBACK AND DISCUSSION
The consultant provides thorough feedback and discussion of the findings of the career assessment.

III.

GOAL IDENTIFICATION
The individual is assisted in identifying both long-term career goals as well as supportive short-term goals.

IV.

CAREER OPTION IDENTIFICATION
Career options within the current organization and outside are identified and explored by the individual with the assistance of the consultant.

V.

PLAN OF ACTION
Based on assessment, career goals, and available options, the individual develops a plan of action. If appropriate, at this phase in the process, the consultant and individual review the plan with the supervising manager.

VI.

IMPLEMENTATION
The plan is then put into action. The consultant monitors the progress to evaluate the effectiveness of the plan and if necessary provides direction for further action.
